The 2018 Citizen Panelists
The 2018 Massachusetts Citizens' Review brings together twenty voters from across Massachusetts to evaluate Question 1, an Initiative Petition for a Law Relative to Patient Safety and Hospital Transparency. The panel is randomly selected and demographically balanced to reflect Massachusetts' voting population in terms of age, geography, party affiliation, race/ethnicity, gender, and educational attainment. The citizen panel will consider arguments from advocates for and against the measure, hear from independent experts, and deliberate together. At the end of the review, the panelists will produce a Citizens' Statement that consists of the key findings and strongest arguments for and against the measure.
